Escape Game Origin Story:

I first found out about escape rooms mainly via word of mouth and different internet forums, back when they started becoming popular in the States. I love doing challenges like word searches, brain teasers, and logic puzzles. I also have always been fascinated with theatrical set design and special effects (as so thoughtfully demonstrated by my flattened friend from Beetlejuice), so when I realized escape rooms combined all of these things that I enjoy into a real-life, interactive experience, I knew I had to try it for myself.

I played my first game on a date, during Valentine’s weekend of 2016. The excitement of solving all the puzzles and seeking out the clues led to me falling in love… with escape rooms. I’ve gone on to play games in multiple different areas of the country, and I can’t wait to play even more.

More About Me:

When I’m not playing escape rooms, I can usually be found off in a corner with my nose in a book. I also tend to nerd out with going to and reading about theme parks, the Maryland Renaissance Festival, and Broadway shows. I like to say that I have a really strong knowledge of random stuff- so I make a good trivia partner. I love cruises and traveling, and was even a travel agent for four years! Through that, I got to have the best moment of my life with the monkeys in Roatan, Honduras while I was on a cruise!

I have been a swing dancer for more than half of my life, and I also enjoy creative outlets like costuming (although my sewing skills are… not the best), and making scrapbooks. I have also recently gotten into beading / bracelet-making, and have currently made over 250 different bracelets. I’m pretty adventurous, so I like to challenge myself with things that make me face my fears.
