Escape Game Origin Story:

My love for a good puzzle to solve began as a young child. My father had a computer programming side business in the early 80’s and we were blessed to have an Apple II desktop PC at home. I was obsessed with playing Mystery House and Adventure, and enjoyed reading Nancy Drew mysteries and playing Clue growing up.

As an adult this passion transformed into playing games like Myst and Crack the Case, and reading psychological thrillers. When I was invited to my first escape room in 2016 I was instantly hooked! I loved the adrenaline rush of the time constraint and the challenge of the puzzles. I have now played escape games in ten states, and try to book one on every vacation.

More About Me:

My husband and I have been married for thirty years, and we have three grown children. We also have two adorable granddogs, an Alaskan Husky and a lab mix.

I was a classroom teacher for seventeen years, spending a majority of that time teaching middle school math. I have been out of the classroom for the last nine years working in the area of middle school curriculum and instruction.

When I am not searching for my next escape game I am likely trying to plan my next trip to Walt Disney World. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Expedition Everest are my favorite roller coasters, and I am one of the few people I know who actually enjoys riding the orange side of Mission: SPACE (without using the barf bag). My daughter and I have mastered the art of the rope drop, and we have been known to park hop three parks in a day with our Joffrey’s coffee in hand.
