Escape Game Origin Story:

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a detective when I grew up.  I loved Encyclopedia Brown, the Hardy Boys, Carmen Sandiego… It was no surprise to anyone that by middle school I was already reading Agatha Christie.

In college, flash games were my wind down after classes and rehearsals.  I think I played every point-and-clock escape game on all of the various websites most nights.  A friend of mine recommended escape games, and in 2016 I finally went to The Escape Room downtown.  It became my new favorite thing, and now I plan my travel around where I can get to a new room in a new state/country!

More About Me:

My husband and I have been together for going on eleven years now and have a sweet rescue kitty named Tiki who likes to judge us on a regular basis.

I am a multi-faceted theatre artist who spent some time on the road with touring theatre and then landed in Maine where I put down roots.  My work has been seen all over New England as an actor, director, musician, and fight director and spans a wide variety of range from Shakespeare to contemporary musical theatre.  I just started my own local theatre troupe and our first show went up in May of 2026.

Aside from theatre, I’m a proud nerd with more board games than my husband would like, more musical scores than I could play through in a year, and more D20s than any one person needs (although… I’m pretty sure I NEED one more set…) I’m always happy to talk shop about all things theatre and story related.
