It’s hard to imagine that we’re already on the cusp of our 5th Anniversary! We’re proud to have launched something that would quickly become the most respected source of in-depth, honest game reviews on the internet, and are equally proud of all the hard work that went into achieving that behind the scenes. But make no mistake, we wouldn’t be where we are today if it were not for you, our loyal readers. And as we prepare to launch our special two month 5th birthday party, you are the thing we are most thankful for.

In addition to brand new, highly detailed reviews of both In Person and Remote Play games, there’s lots of special content worthy of such a celebration:

• Our fourth annual Readers Key Tournament returns – with a brand new twist – to allow you, our readers to choose your Favorite Venue of 2021! For the very first time, this year will feature a themed tournament. What does that mean? Check back on Thursday, April 1 for full details, including which venues have been nominated and when you can cast your first vote of the year!
• In its third consecutive year, Escape Authority will present venues across the world with the Keys to Greatness, our own official site awards, covering twenty different distinct categories. But nothing we do is on a small scale. New award-winning venues will be announced each day, and each individual category will see a Gold, Silver and Bronze Key recipient. These awards, just like our Readers Key – Favorite Venue honor will be permanently posted in each respective review on our site, as well as be shared with each winning venue so that they may include them on their own sites and social channels. Stay tuned for more details as we prepare to launch our Keys To Greatness awards as the focus of the second half of our two month celebration!

But most importantly, it all comes back to you, our readers. Escape Authority wouldn’t be the most respected source in the escape game industry had you not bestowed that honor upon us.
